23/02/2017 - Nouveal e-health
On October 11th, Nouveal e-health announced that it was part of the 92 selected startups to participate in the Big Booster Camp in Lyon.
This international startups acceleration program is organized by the Big Booster association that connects Lyon and Boston.
During this Booster Camp, the selected 92 startups had the opportunity to benefit from a 3-day mentorship by experts from reputed international companies (such as Orange, Klesia, BPI Group, Sanofi…) in order to enhance their speech regarding their products and/or services. Following these 3 days and thanks to the mentors, the pitch for e-fitback convinced the jury. Indeed, the judging panel decided that Nouveal e-health, as well as its linguistic partner SpeakPlus, would be part of the 20 startups to participate in the Big Booster Camp in Boston from 13th to 17th of February 2017 (more information about SpeakPlus below).
Here is the list of the selected startups:
Abilisense, Alcmeon, Cellenion, Clim8, Ehtech, Fineheart, Forcity, Glomeria, Gulplug, Hysilabs, In Touch, Ittention, Micropep, Morphosense, Nouveal e-health, Rheonova, SpeakPlus, Sylfen, Ubi Transports and Wenow.
This Booster Camp focused on the North-American market and this way gave the 20 selected startups the keys to succeed in the United States. For Nouveal e-health, this opportunity represented a real achievement and all the work accomplished by the team, as well as a unique opportunity to tackle the North-American market. During this 4-day intense mentorship, the 20 young companies could have an overview of what it takes to penetrate the US market while networking with major partners of the acceleration program such as Philips Research, Labcentral, or MassChallenge. Following the final pitch, the American jury selected 10 out of 20 start-ups to participate in the finals and compete for the first 3 places.
Here is the list of the 10 finalists:
Clim8, Fineheart, Forcity, Glomeria Therapeutics, Gulplug, In Touch, Hysilabs, Micropep Technologies, Sylfen, Ubi Transports.
On the occasion of the Big Booster final round that took place in Lyon last 5th of April, the 20 startups that participated in the Boston Booster Camp had the chance to pitch one last time in front of institutional investors and international partners during the Biovision and SIdO exhibitions. An opportunity for the 2017 Big Booster class that now knows what it means to think global. After the pitch session, the Big Booster class of 2017 attended the last round tables from the program’s mentors and partners before the announcement of the season 2 winners (click on them to find out what they do):
This was Big Booster season 2 only, and yet it already gathers a rich ecosystem thanks to influential partners, through a program focused on innovation and companies’ globalization. The first two seasons have been such a success that organizers plan to expand Big Booster to the Asian market as soon as September 2017, with a Booster Camp in China.
